Ammachi (Sri Mata Amritanandamayi) is here for her yearly visit, and as always, much-needed rain arrives with her:

"The illusory world has no power to delude you. It is you who have gone after it due to accumulated tendencies. You look at things through the glasses of your vasanas. You weigh things and stamp them as good and bad according to your likes and dislikes."

Beautifully said Dan. You're lucky to have her in Santa Fe. Enjoy.

The illusory world has all power of delusion as long as one wants to be deluded….consciously or unconsciously. There is order in delusion, that being the ability to awaken…so illusions and vasana are vital, serving only as a spring- board to courageously fall into the arms of Love, having never left Love’s embrace to begin with.

Once one glimpses beyond illusion there is no going back. Yes, it is a dance with a shadow; an ebb and flow much like the tide, a coming and going without a doorway- from illusion to I Am, but one can never return to a state of mind that is inherently false to begin with.

As It is, It is perfect now. There is nothing to gain, nothing to lose…everything arises from this and returns again.

May your time with Sri Ammachi be one filled with joy. In-Joy the rain.

My first time at this blog.

I just spent a beautiful week with Ammachi in Los Angeles. Devi Bhava was especially wonderful. Sigh. I wish I could go all over the US with her.

I hope you have a great time with her.
