i think huang po's 'transmission of mind' was my 1st zen book evah or at least the 1st one i found not to be complete and utter boolshyat / useless collection of cliches.

obaku is genius.

& one of these days i must stop calling huang po obaku just because huangbpo is a mountain.

in other nooz, manOHman it takes so little l8ly 4u to have an AHA moment. get a grip and go sit all day at upaya or something, you're losin' IT!

Beautifully said, oh wise one. Hoping you are well in your non-seeking.

Yep, sounds good to me, too!

And by the same or maybe different logic, one could stop calling him Obaku because it is Japanese. And I drive by Upaya regularly --could that be enough? Except I see in the paper that they're doing road repairs there and so the road is closed. Now I'll really lose it, I guess....

Doin' pretty well in the non-seeking, but keep in mind that Huang Po said it, not me. --Oh, wait... Huang Po is me! And you! And Julie. And z0tl. No problem, then!

even if you're so far gone to think that you're outside time while in this form, YOU HAVE BEEN OBAKU ALREADY and since apparently you didn't retain any usefool info from the experience, i maintain:

PUT THE DANNYJI VEHICLE BACK ON THE MAT BEFORE WE HAVE TO HEAR YOU'RE SHIVA AND KATHYJI IS SHAKTI!

ps: was that harsh? if so, trust me, better than 8 keisaku/kyosaku blows to your shins! or are they more effective on your knee caps?

The shins would probably do the trick.

common man, SIT! good boy. roll! that's IT! now you can have a biscuit from shakti and carry on with the tantra childplay.

ps: you wanna go with me and do sesshin at one drop in wash? (click that link under my bloggie title and it'll take you to the dood who runs it).

Master z0tl:

If you only knew how many hours I've logged on the cushion, you'd let me off the hook...

Blogger qbitty said...

yes, but you have not logged any to the cushion next to mine nor have you been in sanzen/dokusan with the nuclear reactor of zen whatever harada roshi his name is, so no off the hook for you just yet.

in fact if i ever see you i'll put a hook into your lip, reel you in & club your shins with the keisaku as you've advised me to do.

SLACKER!

Although the other sense, as in all the rest, might fit too...
