"...the problem of freedom versus determinism is dualistic in presupposing a self whose actions are either free or determined, and the nondualistic denial of an ontological self resolves that bifurcation: if I am the universe, then complete determinism becomes equivalent to absolute freedom. This issue of causality is perhaps the most crucial one of all..."

Okay, I'm getting my mind all twisted up in this again. I was good up until that last sentence. This issue of causality is perhaps the most crucial one of all. This has me stuck. But maybe I ought to take it is as a good sign that I almost made it through the whole thing, yes?

:)

LOVE!

What I'd like to know is why causality matters... or is this one of those guys that needs a logical framework?

Don't be getting your mind all twisted up over this one, Serenity. I almost left that last sentence off, but didn't. Sounds like a good sign to me, yes. And since nothing has ever really happened, how could there really be causality? But forget all that, and enjoy the dream...
